Road assistance services are becoming increasingly popular; companies such as cellular carriers, banks, insurance, credit cards, travel agencies, etc. are investing in these type of programs. Services may include call requests that can be initiated by simply pushing a button or automatic call triggered after any predefined event.
Anyone can run into mechanical problems, accidents or simply need directions to get to a place; Using SYRUS®’s full audio / voice function with 2 way communication capabilities as well as crash alert fixed signals, a wide range of solutions can be deployed.
SYRUS® and its intelligent configuration event engine have provided a flexible platform to launch road assistance applications such as:
- Generate emergency automated calls/alerts after an accident
- Generate assistance request calls: Locked out call request, stalled vehicle, flat tire, out of gas, dead battery are part of simple roadside assistance programs
- Traffic report info sharing
- Hands free calling
How does it work?
SYRUS GPS Tracking devices can be directly connected to external speaker/mic kits provided by DCT. Using the built-in 3 axis accelerometer, the intelligent event engine can be programmed to activate automatic voice calls. These calls can also be activated by pushing a button connected to an input.
